Terms of Service

Clear rules for using Rizumu services responsibly and lawfully.

Effective date
February 25, 2026

These terms govern use of Rizumu website, API and related account features.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Rizumu services, you agree to these Terms of Service and to all applicable laws and regulations.

If you do not agree with these terms, you must stop using the service immediately.

These terms apply to the website, API endpoints, account features, and related desktop handoff flows.

2. Eligibility and Account Access

You are responsible for all activity under your account and for maintaining the security of your linked providers.

You must not share access credentials or use the service to impersonate another user.

We may suspend or terminate accounts involved in fraud, abuse, or repeated policy violations.

3. Permitted Use

Rizumu is provided for lawful personal and organizational use, including profile setup, music presence management, and related synchronization.

You may not use the platform to distribute malware, scrape restricted data, disrupt infrastructure, or bypass access controls.

Reverse engineering and automated abuse against production endpoints are prohibited unless explicitly authorized in writing.

4. User Content and Responsibility

You are solely responsible for content you publish, including profile text, media links, comments, and public news interactions.

You must ensure you have rights to all uploaded or linked content and that such content does not violate third-party rights.

We reserve the right to remove content that is unlawful, harmful, misleading, or otherwise incompatible with platform safety.

5. Service Availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation or error-free performance.

Planned maintenance, emergency fixes, upstream provider issues, or network incidents may cause temporary unavailability.

Status information is published on the Rizumu status page for operational transparency.

6. Integrations and Third-Party Providers

Rizumu integrates with third-party services (for example authentication or media providers) that are governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

We are not responsible for provider-side outages, policy changes, account restrictions, or API limitations outside our control.

You are responsible for compliance with all relevant third-party terms when linking or using integrations.

7. Intellectual Property

Rizumu branding, design, and platform software are protected intellectual property owned by Rizumu or its licensors.

No license is granted except for limited rights necessary to use the service in accordance with these terms.

Unauthorized copying, resale, redistribution, or misuse of proprietary materials is prohibited.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, Rizumu is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind.

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, including data loss, downtime costs, or business interruption.

Total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount paid by you (if any) for the relevant service period.

9. Termination

You may stop using Rizumu at any time and can request account deletion where supported.

We may terminate access immediately for severe violations, legal requirements, or platform security reasons.

Provisions that by nature should survive termination remain in effect, including limitation of liability and intellectual property clauses.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms to reflect product, legal, or operational changes.

When material changes are introduced, we will publish an updated effective date and maintain the revised text on this page.

Continued use of the service after updates become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
